Details:
To assist with the daily operations of the facilities and sporting activities and to act up as Recreation Supervisor to cover vacations and absences, as and when required.

Key Tasks:

  • Comply with Misk City & KeyFM policies, standing orders, employee code of conduct, and procedures at all times.
  • Perform all duties safely, adhering to Misk City Health and Safety Management Systems, risk assessments, and facility SOP’s.
  • Handle customer inquiries and ensure adherence to customer care standards.
  • Monitor cleaning, safety, and the general safety and wellbeing of users and facilities, ensuring rules are followed.
  • Supervise sporting activities and provide coaching/instruction as required.
  • Prepare, recover, and ensure the safety of equipment for both sporting and non-sporting activities.
  • Assist the Recreation Team in preparing and delivering events on schedule.
  • Undertake and maintain up-to-date training and qualifications while ensuring personal competency.
  • Provide cover at other facilities, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
  • Maintain personal fitness and qualifications in line with the post’s requirements.

ON DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the safe operation of sports facilities, buildings, and storage areas.
  • Assist with opening and closing site facilities.
  • Monitor activities and enforce facility usage terms during pitch hires.
  • Perform front-of-house/reception duties when needed.
  • Ensure smooth session changeovers.
  • Liaise with the public, recreation staff, sports staff, and event teams

ACT-UP RESPONSIBILITIES (as required)

  • Manage the opening and closing of buildings and facilities during supervisory coverage.
  • Address customer inquiries and uphold customer care standards.
  • Supervise cleaning, safety, security, and general user wellbeing, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as reporting, document updates, and compliance check sheets.
  • Assist the Recreation Operations Manager in planning and delivering events.

SITE MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee the setup, dismantling, and safe storage of equipment for activities.
  • Report any faults, damage, or potential service disruptions.
  • Identify and escalate issues with equipment or building conditions.

 

SPORTS DEVELOPMENT

  • Oversee the setup, dismantling, and safe storage of equipment for activities.
  • Support the monitoring of sporting activities taking place at the facilities
  • Collaborate with the Sports Coordinator to organize leagues, tournaments, community days, and multi-sport events, fostering Misk community engagement.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & QUALITY

  • Actively assists with customer service, taking a lead in day-to-day operations to ensure that high standards of customer service are delivered to customers, users and colleagues.
  • To be able to communicate and resolve difficult situations at times with customers

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Essential/Desirable)

Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills

  • The ability to communicate effectively in English and the ability to deal with both difficult and sensitive situations from time to time.
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as being part of a team ensuring the operations of the facilities and activities
  • Ability to maintain levels of concentration whilst on duty.
  • The ability to react to potentially serious situations
  • An understanding of health and safety standards
  • The ability to meet tight timescales when setting equipment up and down.
  • Two years’ experience of working in a sports centre or gym environment.
  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of the leisure industry.

 

Qualifications/ Training

  • Leisure, sports or gym industry qualifications and evidence of continued personal/professional development (CPD)
  • Coaching qualification in at least two sports
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Secondary school education

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist to manage day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with Saudi labor regulations, and support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee relations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of local HR systems and regulatory platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process
  • Coordinate with departments to understand manpower requirements.
  • Handle onboarding process including documentation, orientation, and system registration.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
  • Handle employee contracts, renewals, and amendments.
  • Prepare HR letters (employment certificates, salary letters, warning letters, etc.).
  • Manage employee benefits including medical insurance and allowances.
  • Liaise with finance for salary processing.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and company policies.
  • Manage employee records across all the platforms (Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem/Absher etc)
  • Process iqama issuance, renewal, and transfers.
  • Coordinate with PRO for government-related activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of HR experience in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law.
  • Hands-on experience with Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem, and other local portals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication skills in English & Arabic
